Chester is an original collectable Teddy Bear
hand made by me, Sasha Kleshcheva, in 2021.
He is 5¼" (13.5 cm) tall and fully 5-way jointed, with cotter-pin joints in his neck, arms and legs.

Chester is made of sparce mohair
with cotton inserts on his paws and inside ears,
and filled with polyfill and fine woodwool.

He has English glass eyes set on matching felt inserts,
a hand-stitched waxed nose, and hand-stitched mouth...

...and claws, as well as a special Sasha's Bears label on his paw.

Chester may not be
a very self-confident bear
but he more than makes up for it
by being so very kind and gentle.

He has become fascinated
by Ancient Bear History.
When he goes to bed,
Chester always asks me
to read to him about
the adventures of Teddysseus
(as told by Homebear).

When the story gets too scary,
he hides under his blanket -
but he never tells me to stop!

Chester is a proud owner of
a label with Sasha's Bears logo
and a Teddy-Bear Passport.

Chester was adopted at the Goring Craft Fair in November 2021.
