Cosmo is an original collectible Teddy Bear
hand made by me, Sasha Kleshcheva, in 2016.

He is made of soft longpile brushable mohair
with cotton inserts on his paws and inside ears.

He has English glass eyes on felt pads,
a hand-stitched waxed nose, and hand-stitched mouth...

Cosmo is a bit shy, so
it took a while before he told me
why he wears a lightbulb
on the string round his neck.
It turns out that he wants
to become a lamplighter!

He says he knows some places
in Teddy-Bearland
where they still use gas lights,
so he will go there when he is older
and join the apprentice scheme.

Cosmo is 5½" (14 cm) tall
and fully 5-way jointed,
with cotter-pin joints
in his neck, arms and legs.
He is a proud owner of a label
with Sasha's Bears logo,
and a Teddy-Bear Passport.
